Creche

Creche is for babies and children up to the age of four and is run by a group of mothers from our church in the warm and safe environment of a spacious room in the Old Manse. There are lots of toys and activities to be enjoyed and, should you wish to stay with your child, a TV link to the entire service means you don’t have to miss out.

Creche opens from 11.15am and is available each Sunday morning from September – June. We look forward to seeing your little ones! Should you require any more information, or feel that you can help out in any way, please get in touch.

Sunday School
You are warmly invited to send your child/children along to Molesworth Sunday School which meets on our Church premises each week, beginning in September and ending with our special Children’s Day Service and prize giving in June. Our aim is to faithfully proclaim the Good News of the gospel to the children in an age appropriate manner and it is our prayer that early in their young lives they will accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
The Primary Department is for children age 4/5 – 6/7 who meet upstairs in the Church Hall and enjoy hearing Bible stories and learning choruses together.

The Junior Sunday School is for children age 6/7 – 11/12 who meet downstairs in the Church Hall and are divided into classes according to their age. They sing choruses, learn Bible verses and enjoy the Bible related workbooks.

Junior Bible Class meets upstairs in the Old Manse and is for young people age 11/12 – 16 who, as they face the many challenges in our world today, are interested in reading the Bible and learning what God has to say to them from His Word.

If you would like to send your child along to Sunday School please contact us.

Girls’ Brigade is a uniformed Christian organisation which invites girls over the age of 3 years to join us in a varied programme of activities including spiritual, physical, service and educational focus. The GB motto is ‘SEEK, SERVE AND FOLLOW CHRIST,’ and our aim is to help girls to become followers of the Lord Jesus Christ and, through self-control, reverence and a sense of responsibility, to find true enrichment of life.
Boy’s Brigade
1st Cookstown Company of the Boys’ Brigade meets in Molesworth Church Hall and welcomes boys from 5 years old to young men of 18 years of age. Each new session begins in September and ends with a BB display in late Spring.
Holiday Bible Club

Wanting your children to have something else to do during the summer?
Meet up with friends for fun, sports, games and Bible story times?
Why not come along to Molesworth Holiday Bible Club?
A dedicated group of leaders come together to run a Holiday Bible Club each summer for all primary aged children to enjoy. We want the children to come along and have great fun but also, more importantly, to be able to plant a seed in their heart of what God has done for each and every one of us.

‘Start children off on the way they should go and, even when they are old, they will not turn from it’ Proverbs 22;6.
